Black Spots Former trainees have among others identified so called black spots and suggested how to rebuild them. |

One of our tasks was to follow up and check whether these improvements were made and whether traffic safety had improved. We visited a lot of black spots in Colombo together with local consultants. |

Most of the black spots were taken care of, but sometimes we encountered views like the one we see on the picture. Adjustments to suit disabled persons is still a non-existing issue in Sri Lanka. | ||
|
Driving schools Pernilla and Andreas did among others, produce material for following-up of driving schools. Sri Lanka is about to introduce a new training system including among others new books, new tests and a better control of the driving schools in the country. We checked if our material was useful and we travelled in the country and visited several driving schools. The quality varied, to say the least of it – from high standard schools to “a hole in the wall”. |
