Based on an in-depth knowledge of modern know-how and on recent experience SweRoad is convinced that sustainable development in any area is based on competent people working in efficient organizations with well defined objectives. Without effective management, any organization may suffer from reduced efficiency, wasted resources and unnecessary delays. Institutional development is a long process which is often difficult to combine with short-term objectives in a specific project. SweRoad has learned that long-term co-operation with a client, where systematic development of the competence of the personnel is a natural part of the overall project, leads to lasting success. In addition, the SRA has been commissioned with the overall responsibility for the road sector including road safety, environmental impacts, public transport, disabled in the traffic, commercial traffic, driving licences and the road user, the vehicle, the road and the environment is thus supervised and monitored by one and the same government administration.
